The lens hood shades the lens from stray light, prevent or limit lens flare, improving your contrast and image quality. Provide additional protection to the camera and lens from accident scratching.

Installation:
Step1: Remove the ring from X100VI.
Step2: Insall the adapter ring to the lens.
Step3: 49mm Filter can be install to front of adapter ring ( the filter is not included ).
Step4: Screw the lens hood to the adapter ring, until lens hood horizontality ( don't need to screw to the end ).
