A strong light source refers to a non-laser light source containing one or more radiation wavelengths between 250 nm~3000 nm.And the light source can produce biological effects in humans and animals.Biological effects include infrared-induced cataracts, photo-induced keratitis, photoretinitis, retinal thermal damage, ultraviolet-induced cataracts, ultraviolet-induced erythema, etc.
Strong light sources can work in a continuous or pulsed manner; Continuous strong light sources such as: film projection, sun exposure, industrial processing, medical, beauty and searchlight lamps;
Pulsed strong light sources such as: photographic flash, flash in copiers, pulse-modulated LEDs, strobe flashes, and xenon arc lamps operating in pulsed mode.
