SV705C USB3.0 Color Planetary Camera/ IMX585/ EAA
SV705C is SVBONY new planetary camera in 2022.
Adopting IMX585 CMOS color sensor, SV705C produces highest 45 fps with super low readout noise, perfect for EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy) and Lucky Imaging.
SONY IMX585 CMOS Sensor
IMX585 features a large sensor format of 1/1.2”, 2.9μm*2.9μm pixel size, a high resolution of 8.30 Mega Pixel (3586*2180). Thanks to the Back-illuminated sensor structure and advanced pixel technology, the camera has very low readout noise and a large full well capacity (38ke-) especially in low light conditions, which is 3 times larger than the IMX485 sensor.
QE(Quantum Efficiency) Peak: ≈ 90%
As a result, the image sensor can capture high-quality images even in the near infrared range. And when capturing light at a wavelength of 850nm, comparing to IMX485, it improves the sensitivity at about 1.7 times.
No Amp Glow
No matter long exposure time or high gain, the SV705C camera has no Amp Glow at all, make sure the totally high quality “dark” image.
Low Readout Noise at HCG Mode
Adopting the HCG digital noise reduction technology, the readout noise can be greatly reduced and high dynamic range is retained.
ST4 Guiding
It is designed with a ST4 guiding port, supported by PHD2 and the ASCOM platform. You can connect the camera to the mount by a guiding cable, and control the equipment through software on your computer.
USB 3.0 & DDRⅢ Buffer 128MB
The SV705C features a USB 3.0 data transmission interface and a built-in 128MB buffer. DDR3 128MB buffer ensures stable data transmission. And USB3.0 high speed data transmission makes the camera quick and efficient for planetary, lunar and solar imaging.
Supporting ROI & BIN
SV705C features Region of Interest (ROI), and auto resolution can be set, and that highly increases the frame rate in planetary imaging and ensures excellent performance of planetary imaging. Binning 2*2 is effective for framing and focusing targets. The larger pixels gather light much faster, more sensitive reveal faint objects in shorter exposures.

SV705 supports systems: Windows, Linux OS, Raspberry Pi, Mac OS, Chrome OS.

M42*0.75 Thread
The camera thread size is and there are another two fun usages of the camera.
1. Add the M42-CS adapter to SV705C to connect to a CS lens for time-lapse images shooting.
2. Add the M42-CS adapter to SV705C connect to a CCTV camera lens as an all-day surveillance camera for monitoring like meteor shower.
Anti-reflection Coating;UNC 1/4-20 Screw Hole
Sensitive to visible and near-infrared light. Various imaging can be achieved using different filters.
Available to connect to a standard tripod with 1/4” base and use the camera as for monitoring.
