LD306S is a 24GHz millimeter wave radar module, which can be applied to detect the speed of vehicle movement and continuously report the speed information through serial port, and is not affected by temperature, humidity, airflow, dust, noise, light and dark, etc. It has strong anti-interference ability and can penetrate acrylic, glass, plastic and thin non-metallic materials.

Precautions

*If the radar needs to be installed in a housing, the housing must have good wave transmission characteristics in the 24GHz band and must not contain metal or materials that have a shielding effect on electromagnetic waves.
*The product needs to be installed in a suitable environment, the detection effect will be affected if used in the following environment.
a. The presence of continuous movement of non-human objects in the sensing area, such as animals continuously swinging curtains and large green plants facing the wind.
b. There is a large area of strong reflective plane in the sensing area, strong reflective objects are facing the radar antenna will cause interference.
c. When hanging wall installation, need to consider the external interference factors such as indoor top air conditioner, electric fan, etc.

*Cautions for installation
a. Try to ensure that the radar antenna is facing the area to be detected, and the antenna is open and unobstructed around.
b. Make sure the installation position of the sensor is firm and stable, the shaking of the radar itself will affect the detection effect.
c. To ensure that the back of the radar will not have object movement or vibration. As the radar wave has penetration, the back flap of the antenna may detect the moving objects on the back of the radar. Metal shield or metal back plate can be used to shield the radar back flap to reduce the effect caused by objects on the back of the radar.
d. When there are more than one radar in 24GHz band, please don't install the radar beam facing each other, and try to install it far away from each other to avoid possible mutual interference.
