The device has advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function. This technology enables the device to maintain ultra-low distortion throughout the entire audio frequency band while showcasing sound quality. This device operates in AD mode and can drive up to 2 315W/4R loads and 2 150W (unshipped power)/8R loads at a THD of 1.5%. It also has a 2VRMS analog input interface and supports seamless connection with high-performance DACs (such as TI's PCM5242).
In addition to excellent audio performance, TPA3255 also has two major advantages: high power efficiency and ultra-low power level idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved through an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized gate driver scheme. This scheme can significantly reduce idle loss compared to traditional discrete implementation schemes.
